In August 2021, Grégory Wathelet finished 4th in the GP Global Champions Tour in London over 1.60m with Faut-Il des 7 Vallons. At the time, he said: "I have high hopes for this horse who has been with me for 5 years. He has a lot of respect and means. He has a bit too much temperament, he charges a bit too much on the jump, he still needs to be worked on. He still has to confirm himself but he is a genius!"
Grégory Wathelet won several events in 2001 with the dam of Faut-Il, Firis de la Maine (by Double Espoir). He was Belgian Young Riders Champion and finalist at the European Young Riders Championship.
In December 2021, it was at the CSI5* in Geneva that Grégory and Faut-il took 3rd place in the final on 1.55m after having been clear the two previous days.
